Analyst & Deputy Director of Research

Simon Shi is the Deputy Director of Research and an analyst covering communication services and utilities sectors for Kopernik. He has been in the investment industry since 2000 and joined Kopernik in 2016. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management and KPMG LLP. Simon has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, a Master of Science in accounting from Northern Illinois University, and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He has received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
