Principal, Head of Strategy & Distribution

Kassim Gaffar is a principal and the Head of Strategy & Distribution at Kopernik. He has been in the investment industry since 1998 and with Kopernik since inception. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Vinik Asset Management, Tradewinds Global Investors, Smith Barney/Citigroup Global Wealth Management, SEI Investments, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter’s private client group. Kassim has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Virginia. He has received the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation.
